Webb12 sep. 2006 · Within the past couple of weeks, I started noticing two types of dirt mounds in my side yard (the most untended area of the yard). Neither type APPEAR to have ants. The first type of mound is usually small and low, may have a small (tiny) hole in the center... very fine dirt/sand. Something "built" as opposed to distrubed ground.
